ACADEMIC MODEL

At present, a class of less than 10, providing the flexibility necessary to tailor the presentation of curricula to each child's needs. Spiritual education is based on Biblical truth, not doctrines. 

      Emphasis on preparation for a global society with an immersion 
        into foreign language, potential travel, real-world application of 
        lessons, and computer mastery.  
      Encouragement of civic responsibility through participation in 
        community outreach opportunities.  
      Introduction into cultural awareness through an art and music 
        program, beginning with mandatory basic art training and piano.  
      Significant parental involvement as partners with the Academy's 
        mission for the advancement of their child.  
      Firm code of conduct with immediate positive or negative 
        consequences.  
      Extended school days for incorporation of enrichment programs. 
      Athletic progress, including mandatory swimming proficiency and 
        introduction to a wide variety of sports. 
      Cultivation of trusting relationships between instructors and 
        students to extend beyond the academic environment.

Due to our close interaction with each student, we are in a position to observe a child's changing needs and adjust accordingly. Our warm and tightly-knit environment fosters an atmosphere of trust where they will feel safe enough to expose and work on their weaknesses; nevertheless, this type of atmosphere also allows us to hold each student extremely accountable for very high standards of excellence.

Expectations and goals will be clearly defined. We provide learning experiences designed to give children an edge over their peers, which is beneficial for those who struggle with self-esteem. This includes intense progress toward fluency in a foreign language and computer mastery.
